Forwarding only
Already ordered, but you need a Japanese address?
If you can order from the Japanese shop yourself, you don't need me to buy anything. What you need is a Japanese address for the parcel to land at. I receive it, check what's inside, and send it on to you.
- Tell me the shop, the item and when it's due to ship, using the form.
- You pay the ¥1,000 handling fee. At that point I give you the address to use.
- Change the delivery address registered with the shop to that address.
- When it arrives I open it, check the contents and send you photographs.
- I weigh it and send you the shipping and packing figure. You pay, and it goes out with tracking.
What it costs
The handling fee is ¥1,000 per parcel. I'm not buying anything, so there's no 5% of the item cost. After that it's just the real shipping and packing, plus the 3.6% payment fee.
When you get the address
After your request is accepted and the handling fee is paid. It's my own address, not a warehouse, so I don't hand it out before then. I hope that makes sense.
- Everything with the shop stays between you and them. Changes, cancellations, returns, missing items — I can't do any of it. The order sits in your account, not mine.
- If the parcel never reaches me, the handling fee isn't refunded. That covers a wrong address, the shop deciding not to send it, and loss in transit.
- If it isn't due to arrive within three months, I may say no. If I've accepted and the date then moves, I may cancel and give the fee back.
- Storage is free for 30 days, then ¥50 a day. At 60 days it's disposed of.
- Anything on the can't-send list stays on it, forwarding or not.
